What constitutes a valid DMCA request?

Per 17 U.S.C. 512(c)(3), a valid DMCA takedown notice must include:

1. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
2. Identification of the infringing material and its location on SelfieAI.
3. Contact information of the complaining party.
4. A statement of good faith belief that the use is not authorized.
5. A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, under penalty of perjury.
6. An electronic or physical signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent.

Process Timeline

• Acknowledgment: Within 48 hours of receipt.
• Review & Action: Within 5 business days.
• Notification: You will be notified of the outcome via email.

Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification to legal@selfieai.app including your contact information, identification of the removed material, a statement under penalty of perjury that removal was a mistake, and your consent to local federal court jurisdiction.
